Welcoming everyone to proclaim and live the joy of the Gospel.
The Mass Explained
The Church says that the celebration of the liturgy is the heart of everything we do and everything we believe. But what is the meaning of liturgy? What is the importance of our participation? Where do the words we pray during the liturgy come from? What is the significance of the community, the symbols and the rituals? This five-part video series below on the liturgy is designed to help answer these questions and many more. Each video covers a different part of the Mass, making it easy to reflect on the event that the Church calls the source and summit of our Christian life.
