Lay Ecclesial Movements and Organizations

Welcoming everyone to proclaim and live the joy of the Gospel.

The Cursillo is an encounter with Christ.  Its mission is to bring Christ to others by learning how to embrace our vocation as laypersons.  By living a fully Christian life, we bring Christ to others, including members of our family, workplace, school, etc.  The Cursillo holds weekend retreats twice each year.

This group’s mission is to build simple, decent homes for those in need. Each year we participate in the Homebuilding Partnership Program. As a major sponsor in this program, our parish, along with churches of all denominations, work together to support the annual ecumenical builds.

The Knights are a group of Catholic men dedicated to the ideals of charity, unity, fraternity and patriotism. Membership is open to Catholic men 18 years and older. We are involved in many activities such as pancake breakfast, fish fries, breakfast with Santa, etc. Proceeds from our fundraisers are all donated to worthy causes. Our council meets on the first and third Tuesday of each month.

The Legion of Mary is a worldwide organization of Catholic men and women who offer their services to their pastor to aid in performing spiritual works in the parish. With the help of Mary, they develop greater holiness in their lives through apostolic works, such as visiting nursing homes, hospitals and people in bereavement.
