The Sacrament of Confirmation will be celebrated at St. Thomas Aquinas on Saturday, January 8, 2011. Tenth grade students and older teens who wish to be confirmed should contact the Religious Education Office to register for the Confirmation preparation program.

The Holy Father's Intention for the month of August is as follows: "That those who are without work or homes or who are otherwise in serious need may find understanding and welcome, as well as concrete help in overcoming their difficulties." The faithful may receive a plenary indulgence by praying for the His Holiness' intentions. The requirements for this indulgence can be found here at the Vatican website (under the "General Remarks On Indulgences" heading.
